As per a folktale, Shri Ram had performed the Shraddh (a ritual for paying homage to departed soul) of Dasharath ji in Jalana. A cremation ground is located on the banks of river Kundalini called Ramteerth. Kundalini is the same river whose reference has been given in Purans , (the ancient religious book).Â
