To attain freedom from the sin of killing a Brahmin, Shri Ram performed yagyas and offered dans at several places. On the banks of river Gomti, Shri Ram performed a huge yagya and offered donations following the instructions of Vashisth ji. The entire family then bathed in the river.Â
