The temple of mother Parvati is located on the holy confluence point of Godavari, Mazara and Haldihole rivers. It is 30 km. from Nizamabad. This temple is known as Skand Temple. The story of a land lord of Sindur village related to Shri Ram’s exile is very popular in this area. This is the native village of Dr. Keshav Rao Baliram Hedgewar, the very first Sarsangh Chalak of RSS.Â
